'I wish not to renew my contract' -Vikrant Massay

Vikrant Massay, popularly known as Dharam of NDTV Imagine's Dharam Veer is unhappy that his character has been sidelined in the show... The actor now wishes to move on after his contract ends this year...
Vikrant Massay better known as Dharam of Dharam Veer does not want to be a part of this NDTV Imagine period drama beyond this year. “I have told the creatives that I don’t want to renew my contract which expires at the end of the year”, quips the young lad. He is not happy with the lack of attention given to his character despite it being a lead. “I was promised a much better deal in the beginning, but as the show proceeded I was sidelined”, says Vikrant. His frustration can be clearly seen when he says that he really does not care if the channel is trying to cash in on the name and image of Rajat Tokas. “I am quite happy even I get one scene in a single episode”, maintains the actor. However Producer Moti Sagar denies Vikrant’s allegation saying that, “We have always given both Dharam and Veer equal importance. In fact he should be grateful to us for giving him such an important break. Had we wanted, we could have kept the name just as Veer and still brought him in”. Mr. Moti also rejected the charge of cashing in on Rajat’s name and fame. “The show is such that at times Dharam is in the forefront and at times it is Veer”, he added. Life some how has been unfair to Vikrant for his very first show ‘Kahan Hoon Main’ which he shot for about 4 and a half years back is finally airing, but at an unearthly hour of 2 am on Star Plus. He had played an invisible guy in the ill fated show which had to be wound up in just 13 episodes instead of the stipulated 60. Since then he has done an episodic in Don, a character role in Raaz Ki Ek Baat on DD and a parallel lead in Dhoom Machale Dhoom on Disney.

I came accross this interview so i feel i should share this with others, read the last question Rajat is really sounding upset, Plz Rajat ke friends go meet him, he feels lonely there....
He rose to stardom at a young age of 12, as the dynamic young Prithviraj Chauhan. The actor with a tremendous fan following, Rajat Tokas is now back in action in yet another period drama, Dharam Veer on NDTV Imagine. Here is the actor talking about his role in his new project… Can you tell us about your character in NDTV Imagine’s Dharam Veer? I am playing Veer in the period drama. Veer is a very stubborn guy, who will never listen to anyone and will do whatever he wants to do. At such a young age, you have gained immense popularity and audience appreciation. How does it feel? Definitely it feels great to be a part of stardom, that too at such a young age. I feel honored that people have recognized me and my work. I believe in hard work and I worship my work as God. I am glad that my hard work has paid off; I thank my fans as they have made me what I am today. If not an actor, what would you have been? I have always dreamt of being a director. I am now too young to get into the Director’s shoes, so took to acting. Once I get all the experience, I will surely try for direction. You have worked with Mugdha Chapekhar in Prithviraj Chauhan. How is it like working with her again in Dharam Veer? I know that she has joined the serial, but I haven’t shot any scene with her till date. If you ask me how it feels to be working with her, then I am sorry, I can’t tell you anything, as I share only a professional relationship with her. I am here in this industry to work and I will only concentrate on my work and nothing else. So is the story of Dharam Veer on the lines of the classic movie with the same name? You have to watch the serial for, I can’t tell you that. Your two serials till now have been period drama. Are you more partial towards this genre or would you like to work in the usual drama and daily soaps? I can do any type of role. If I get a nice offer, I will definitely go for it. I don't mind experimenting with roles. But having said this, I got appreciated a lot for being the young Prithvi, and even now as Veer. I have also got awards for such roles, so why should I change? The story of Dharam Veer revolves around friendship and rivalry. What is your take on friendship and the co-existing rivalries that arise between friends? I can do anything for my friends. But till now, I have not come across a friend who can do anything for me. I got to know the real meaning of friendship from the industry. When I got hospitalized recently, none of my co-actors or friends came to see me. Bloopers in DharamVeer

I have noticed alot of bloopers in Dharam Veer which I want to share with others.Its quite a funny thing so RT's fan please don'nt mind after all mein bhi RT ki HARDCORE fan hon.And if some one in the production house have noticed dis please take care of these mistakes.If some one else have also noticed some other bloopers please write to me aur comment below.I have noticed a number of bloopers but I am starting wid some latest ones:
1.In last episode of DV Ananaya has seen wearing a green suit can any body tell me usne apni dress kaise change ki???voh to koi dress lai nahi thi!!!Vaise she was looking very preety in that dress.
2.Punarjanam of Shakaal's gang. You must hv seen the episode in which DV were going by a boat and shakaal ki gang unka peecha kar rahi thi aur baad me DV ne unhe maar diya tha but thodi der baad phir se un logon ko shaakal ke saath aur kai aur jagah dikhaya,is it punarjanam or shortage of staff at Shakaal's office???Yahi nahi ye hi log Aryanagar ke seneek bhi ban jate he.
3. Kuch episodes pehle jab Veer was searching for Swastik Village,he met two brothers amongst them one was deaf and dumb but fir baad wale episode me us ladka aur uske mammi-papa ko Shakaal ne pakad rakha tha aur phir Veer ne unhe bachaya.And that boy was shouting in his max voice...Lagta he Sagar's need some more staff to show them in theses small roles.
4. And the last one is Guruji ne toh sare rajkumaron ko ek saath bheja tha phir vo sab kahan chale gaye aur phir achanak Rajkumar Karan kaise Swastik gaon pahunch gaya.Aur ye kaise guruji he jo apne students ko itni dangerous tasks de dete hain.
Aise hi aur bhi bloopers hain, I'll update this post time to time so plz check...

Rajat opted for commerce in 11th.

Hey I am not sure about this news as I have read this in one of the orkut community- DharamVeer~dosti ki daastan~ that Rajat has opted for commerce in class 11th and he is continuing in the same school i.e. Hopes Hall Foundation School in Delhi. He will be doing his studies via correspondence.

Rajat looking awesome!!!

Yesterday's episode of DharamVeer was a blast.After so many episodes finnaly they have shown something worthwhile and meaningful.One more time Rajat is shown bear chest and realy I am admitting this that I can not take my eyes off from the TV. I think he is working hard on his body and on the way to 6 pack abs.I have read this on some other website that he is a hard working guy and regularly do his workouts and congrats Rajat the output is clearly seen by every one you are looking awesome and handsome Yesterday's episode was quit emotional too as Dharam come to know that Shambhu is not any one else but Veer and thus it consists of lots of close ups of Dharam and Veer.Rajat has started looking quit mature with a thin hair line of musteche but I am sure Rajat will look better clean shaved and one more thing if Rajat you are reading this than dear please take care of your skin as I have seen alot of pimples on your face.Its just a small suggestion as you spend alot of time in dust. Lastly, Rajat's this avtaar reminds me of Shahid Kapoor as Shahid has also worked alot on his body and he's also a choclate hero like Rajat.So Rajat all the best for you Six Packs.

Rajat on NDTV India on 1st June

It was one of the best interviews of Rajat. Here are some of the highlights of the interview:- Rajat was wearing the white blazer which he was seen wearing during the interview to Hindustan times during his visit to Delhi. He looked stunning. He was sitting along with a group of his fans who were asking him alot of questions. My favourite was this question asked by a girl, " Rajat, now since you are so famous you must have had the experience that where ever you go many of your fans keep following you and ask for your autograph. Don't you get frustrated because of this?" Rajat replied almost immediately, "You never get frustrated with someone who you loves you so much. I am very lucky that so many in the country adore me and care for me and i will never get frustrated because of that." Good reply.

One important thing that rajat said was that he has no account on orkut or anyother sight and he doesn't reply to any emails sent by his fans because he never gets the time to so. He is always busy shooting. Rajat's favourite colour is black. He is a bigger fan of football than cricket and he has not seen many IPL matches because of his hectic shooting. He prefers watchng cartoons than serials because there is always rona dhona in serials which doesn't let him relax. Poor guy! He gets only 3-4 hours of sleep a day. But he never complains. He said that he misses Delhi alot. He also likes Bombay but compared to Delhi you have to struggle alot in Bombay. While in Delhi you can have some amount of relaxation. He loves to visit Delhi as he can sleep for a long time and go out with his family in the evening.
Rajat is so dedicated to his work that even had to miss his cousin sister's wedding because of shooting. He has always heard of people saying that family comes first but for him work comes first because he is working to make his family proud. Beleive it not Rajat used to be hydrophobic ie he used to be scared of water. He said, " Jab main chota tha to mere dad mujhe swimming pool le jaya karte the. aur main bahut chota tha aur chaddi pehenkar khada rehta tha. Magar jab mere dad mujhe paani main jaane ko bolte to main bolta tha ki mujhe nahin karni hain swimming aur main udar se bhag jaata tha. Luckily now i am not scared of anything." Rajat was very studious and always used to come first. But somehow he never used to like french. Vo apne teachers ko bahut pareshan karta tha and always used to find an excuse to miss the french class. Or else he used to attend all his lectures.
Rajat's close friend is guy named Surya from his school. When ever Rajat used to shoot and didn't attend school Surya used to give him his notes to study from. Rajat is very grateful for that. Rajat also sang a song. Clearly he is a very good singer. He sang Tera Chehera by Adnan Sami. He says that he loves to sing on top of his voice on the sets. He never goes to the sets on the intention of making friends or relations. He mainly goes there to work. Also he made it very clear that he has no intention of havig a girl friend right now.

Hello friends, most awaited moment is here. Here are Rajat's Exam Results. All were waiting eagerly for the results of our Veer-The Prince, Our Sher. So, here are Rajat's results. Rajat has successfully passed his board exams with 52.2 % marks. His overall total is 261 marks out of 500. And this result is definately the best for a person who has worked so hard. During exams also he kept on shooting, and we know how hard he has worked. Also Rajat has said," I have secured a good results just by prayers and good wishes of my fans. So I thank them all." Veer over reacting!!!

In the last few episodes of DharamVeer(DV) Veer's is shown over reacting on the issue with Aryavardhana.Veer is angry with the king from the time he has announced Dharam's assesination,than Veer saved Dharam but have some bitter argument and fight with Aryavardhana.Later on king realized his mistake and said sorry to Veer but he is still stuck up to the same point and every time points out infront of Dharam that his father is unfair to him.Seems that Veer is too hyper and is over reacting on this matter again and again.I think it will lead to clash between DV and even prince Karan has also noticed this.I dont want to see DV fighting with each other on this issue and Veer should stop over reacting upon this matter after all Aryavardhan is Dharam's father and he equally love and care for both Dharam and Veer.

Rajat's 10th board result

Rajat's 10th board result is going to be declared on 29th of May.He is very bright student of Hope Hall Foundation School,R.K.Puram New Delhi and has given his 10th board exam this year.The school is affiliated to CBSE Delhi so the results will be declared on 29May.Rajat is very nervous for his results.He said this in his inteview on SBS 14th may.He is not able to sleep properly due to tension.He did'nt get time to prepare well for his exams because of his hectic schedule.So lets wish him Good Luck and All The Very Best for his results.May he will get whatever he deserves.

This show has promising prospects.We get to watch all our fav PRC characters again and Rajat Tokas,the star attraction,in all his elements. What more could we ask for?? Rajat's new avtar in DharamVeer
Rajat's entry was as good as expected..but after his injury ,he shud go a bit easy on the stunt part....As far as the characters our concerned,vikrant is good and i also like Sakshi and Veer's mother ,Nivriti.
The sets have been aesthetically designed and sagars have beautifully experimented with colours.Though i feel that the costumes could have been better.I really dont like the cloak that Rajat wears with his dress.
Its my heartfelt desire that the signature PRC music should exclusively be used for Rajat.

Rajat was not nominated in Star Parivaar award

MY QUESTION IS TO THOSE INCHARGE OF NOMINATIONS AND AN APPEAL TO ALL THE FANS.
Why has RajatTokas not been co-nominated with anas in spite of the fact that he led the serial till mid-october??? Even after mid-October he kept the spectators glued to PRC through his flashback clippings. We must say that during that period,when anas wasn't established as PRC rajat's flashback clippings carried the serial on their shoulders.so much so that there was only a little drop in the popularity of the serial. The flashback clippings of rajat kept all of us entertained for a substantial period of time. And since these awards are for the works of entertainment ,rajat should have been co-nominated with anas.rajat's work till mid of oct. and his clippings till mid-january held together should be counted as HIS WORK.This topic finds support n 'PRC forum' ,'Dharam Veer forum' and 'The Rajat Tokas Fan Club'. But in this blog, i appeal to all RT's fan to extend support in a similar fashion,and i also appeal to the incharge of nominations to correct this injustice as fast as possible. This will ONLY benefit the TV industry by making millions of viewers happy. Please write your comments on this issue.

Rajat will be seen with Hansika Motwani in this film. She was also a child actor and people recognise her better as Bawari of Kyonki saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Karuna of Shaka Laka Boom Boom. She has made her debut with Himesh Reshamiya in Apka Suroor which is also a big hit of 2007.

News is this that she is playing a charcter called 'Priyanka' in this movie and Rajat is playing a character called 'Anuj'. The storie of the movie is related to teen life in school. Lets wish both stars best of luck for their new avtars.

Hey has any body seen the last few episodes of DharamVeer???my goodness what Veer has done to save his brother Dharam who has punished by his own father king. I dont believe Rajat is just 15 yr old and has performed all the stunts so perfactly as if he is a real warrior of ancient time. I love the way he uses his sword and do all those eye catching actions. I can not turn off my eyes from him.....marvoulous job Rajat,hats off..........

I have created this new blog to discuss about Rajat Tokas the new teen sensation of India. Formerly playing the leading character in the serial called Prithviraj Chouhan which is on air on Star Plus from Fri to Sun 9:00pm.I have been watching this serial since Rajat has entered and now as he left the show the serial has lost its ora or attraction.
